Songs that are like a warm blanket on a snowy day, a bowl of chicken soup when you're sick, a band aid when you're bleeding - what are some of those for you?

The artistic pride of this country, truly Canadian talents. This song has made me cry more times than I can remember and gotten me through even more down times. The lyrics are inspiring and greatly moving and music beautifully written.
In The Garden

I find this so soothing and comforting. It was a favourite hymn of my grandmother and she used to play the piano and sing this quite abit when I was a child so it carries rather precious memories with it for me too.

This always stirs something up inside me and helps me find ways to carry on when I feel down or without aim. And this particular live performance of it I think is one of the most gorgeous she's done.
