Taiwan is one of those sensitive topics on Weibo. It's possible that it could have just been picked up by the filters when combined with other words.

oh so any post containing '台湾‘ is censored.....

for eg, let's say sb on weibo posts "台湾属于中国的!!!“ (just an eg, no flaming!!!)

the FAIL weibo censor would only pick up the words '台湾‘ and go
RED ALERT, RED ALERT! ------------ DELETE!!!

HAHAHA

No no. Cos of the tian an men thingy in china that took place on 4 June 23 yrs ago, weibo deleted many posts, ESP by Hk-ers and those verified accounts. They were allowed to post photos or say anything which the censors didn't allow. Many posts were deleted.. Joey couldn't post photos too and she commented on the incident in a cuter way, saying weibo was spoilt. Tencent weibo was fine though. And Joey posted there and said, here isn't spoilt.
