I LOVE HER!!! Such a strong voice! I also like the fact that she doesn't look like she's dying from lack of food like some other american artists. Plain talent!

the best american idol to date!!!!!! love her music cuz its different from typical pop songs that most girls try to stay safe on. the song A MOMENT LIKE THIS really made me notice her talent at the final episode of season 1. it was very dramatic with that stage and that moment and with her alone on stage.

there were some other good ones, but she's obviously the most succesful. i like her too, not a fan of course, but she has good songs and can defnitely sing.

does that mean you dont like mariah? well if you put it that way, i'd pick mariah....she def can sing so well i mean when she first came out, her vocal range and still is incredible.....i think she also has some sorta name to her voice like falsetto to leo

^no mariah carey is one of america's finest artists. i love her but i think kelly clarkson really deserved the awards this year. i didnt really like "we belong together" but mariah's performance really did beat kelly's by a mile on the night.

Mariah carey has a great voice and some of my favourite songs! But kelly clarkson really brought somethign new and fresh..her songs were popish but most people could relate to it.
