If you could be Joey's producer for a day, what sort of album would you record with her? It can be anything - share!
This would be impossible to release due to copyrights and all - but mine would be a collection of 10 songs based on novels by different writers and focusing on different themes/subjects that the songs would pertain to:
By/For
1 - "Doe not call up any you cannot put down" (Case of Charles Dexter Ward, Lovecraft) Liberty
Sombre piano and violin arrangement.
2 - My name is Lolita (Lolita, Nabukov) Taboo
R&B Style. Beatbox effects with freestyle scat/be-bopping by Joey.
3 - Anything you can do... (The Handmaid's Tale, Atwood) Inequality
Acapella. As bold and sharp as nails on a chalkboard.
4 - Horla (Le Horla, Maupassant) Madness
Fast paced electronic dance song. Lots of echoing effects and drums.
5 - Upstairs, downstairs (Vanity Fair, Makepeace) Society
Fast paced loungey sounding rythem
6 - The Song of Autumn (Chanson d'automne, Verlaine) Change
Chinese version of Je Suis Venu Te Dire...
7 - Escape of fantasy (One Thousand and One Nights, Various) Imagination
Indian inspired/sitar heavy melody. Strong Indian classical influence
8 - In the sphere (Story of the Eye, Bataille) Sexuality
Guitar ditty.
9 - I dream of Peony (Peony Pavillion, Tang XianZhu) Unresolved love
Piano & voice arrangement.
10 - Boom (Red Alert, George) Politics
Fast dance song

要快樂的時候, 我們就應該快樂
不再奢望著我們將來怎麼
