Hong Kong pop diva who had always dreamed of buying a big home for her mother to live in. In 1999, Joey had bought a $4.95 million apartment that was nearly 3000 square feet. Howver, not long after that, a serious fire burnt away much of the apartment. Ever since, Joey has been looking around and has been saving money to buy a really nice place to live in. This day has finally come.
Having wonderful oceanview, Joey's apartment of the "ming mune suites" is a midheight floor. Each suite is just over 1500 square feet and worth over $23 million HKD. However, Joey bought 2 suites, taking the whole floor, and she will combine the two suites into 1, totalling over 3000 sq. feet and $46 million. These sets of apartments have been very popular. Many other famous artists have come to look at them, including Leon Lai. Even superstitious teachers, (feng shui lou) described to have great feng shui.
On top of a new home, Joey will also have brand new furniture. Last week, Joey was found in Serta looking at a hand-made silk bed matress worth over $10000. Furthermore, she was found in several Italian and European name brand stores looking at furniture as well. However, her apartment is still under construction and the earliest time she will be able to move in will be 2007.
Despite the luxurous lifestyle she might have, Joey was found eating at the side of the street with her assistant and chauffler. Very different from the places Joey had just been to.
Joey admitted that for the sake of saving money, she had put on makeup by herself. However, she had accidently cut a part of her eyebrow, making her brows very uneven and not matching. When she went to take an interview, she wore a gigantic pair of sunglasses to hide her silly makeup carelessness.

but den again...apartment in HK are extremely expensive...
if she bought a 9m CDN house in toronto...it has like 10+ rooms -_- 5 garage.... like a mansion...5000feet+ .....

OMG, DATS SOOOO EXPENSIVE!!!! But i do think it is about time she does, she deserves a celebrity like house, she totally deserves it! GK is right, in Canada, $9 Million can buy u alot! perhaps even more than 5000 square feet, more like 8000, LOL
but Joey is so funni, cutting her eyebrow. It's good to see that Joey doesnt always eat at fancy restaurants, this shows that she is realli down to earth.

the house dosn't look THAT big for 46m HKD =/...
i was expecting more lol... but it does look VERY nice... mayb thats why its so expensive lol..
