since i was wondering how popular joey is china, i decided to look for her album sales in china. trouble is, it's kinda hard to find these figures. us has the billboard, japan has oricon, china... don't rly have an OFFICIAL agency of sorts.

so i found this "answer" on soso, don't know how credible this is. the person replying didn't list their source, but... here it is anyways.........

so ASSUMING this info. is correct, Joey total album sales in China is 4.6mil, which if true, exceed her total sales of ALL her HK albums COMBINED!!!! hocked: hocked: hocked:
then again... considering the pop. of china, it's def. acheivable...

(as a HK artists' comparison, joey beats TWINS(3.9mil) and Leo(4mil), but can't top the master EASON with over 10!!! mil albums sold. notably absent is friend/lover HOCC who doesn't appear on the list AT ALL!!! {which goes to show u... success in one place (taiwan) doesn't necessarily translate to similar success elsewhere (china)})

speaking of which, are there any websites you know of where i can ACCURATELY look up by week (or month) total sales for albums, singles, MVs, MP3s, etc.

That wouldn't be surprising as most of Joey's songs are Cantonese, so it would make sense she's more popular in that area.

nahh this list doesn't look too accurate to me...i don't know much about who's popular in China, but i find it hard to believe many of these numbers. For example, i don't believe Dave Wang has sold twice as much as Jacky or around six times as much as Faye.
