The first of the 4 annual award shows,Metroradio Hit Awards was held last night and 104 prizes were given at the end of the award show.

Andy Lau, Andy Hui and Joey were the three biggest winners of the night with each garnering 7 awards. Hacken Lee trails behind with 6 and a half awards while Leo Ku got 5 awards. Miriam Yeung received 4 while Twins got 3 awards where 2 of it are shared prizes. Kelly Chen, Jolin Tsai and Gigi Leung got 3. The show also paid tribute to James Wong Jim where his daughter Wong Yu Si gave a speech.

Joey won 7 awards and was the biggest winner among the female singers. The prizes are : Metroradio Hit Female Singer, Metroradio Hit Mandarin Song , Metroradio Hit Karaoke Song, Metroradio Hit Album (2 albums) and Metroradio Hit Song (2 songs). Singers who did not attend the award show includes Aaron Kwok, Faye Wong, Sammi Cheng, Jay Chou and Eason Chan. did not get any award.
