I think (I heard, anyway) that they're his former fans-turned-friends-turned-artists. He promotes them pretty heavily, actually - and I can see why, they're very similar to him in terms of composing/style/etc.

I don't like the duet with Lara on November's Chopin, though; Jay's voice drowns her out half the time.

yeah i heard of them. I was first attracted by their name, Nan quan ma ma. It's such a weird name LOL if not mistaken, it was given by Jay.
they released their new album recently, their songs are not bad but all are quite similar with Jay's songs. therefore, nothing special.
