So like, I've noticed the posting on JG has increased a lot lately. You'd think this'd be a good thing, but no, it's not.

A lot of the newer members are spamming. Although it's not spamming per se, rather POSTING UNCONTROLLABLY. Yes, the posts are on topic. But they are also talking about pointles shit. I, along with other members find it rather annoying. It's making JG really boring, having 20+ pages of one thread talking about BASKETBALL for example, which mainly consist of spams.

It appears the main culprits are the gang of noobs led by the semi-noobs, JOEY FAN and WaterWonders. Up until just recently I was VERY active on jg, as my post count display. But I've been here for 15-16 months or so now. WaterWonder, you have been here for four months and already you have way surpassed my post count. Same for you JOEY FAN. You guys seem to be just talking shit, seriously. Over 16 posts average per day is just too far. Don't get me wrong, i do like you guys and im pretty sure you like me too, but honestly its really starting to shit me.

Look at the stats. JOEY FAN, QOOBrethren, and WaterWonders combines have made up 52% of the forums post, OVER HALF. 3 Members vs the rest of JG. Minority wins.

Just look what you fags did to the Member Pics thread with the pressuring each other to posting pics. And for what? A bunch of spam pages with no pics. That was just really gay and immature.

And I swear someone has been deleting my posts...

The point of this announcement: STOP SPAMMING and ENCOURAGING NOOBS TO SPAM. Sorry if I'm sounding really harsh, but something has to be said, no?

YES!!...the post numbers r getting really out of hand...i know that it's good for jg to be active...but to be honest i got REALLY bored after reading less then 1 page of postS...and that goes for the joey chat threads too, and i always like reading that section

and i know how u guys r posting...me and some older members have done it before...plz don't tell ppl to reply so that u can reply again...plz don't post the same shit over and over again...and please write as much points/opinion u have at that moment in 1 post and not make many many short ass posts

yeah i have noticed the increase of activity on jg. but i dont know if its all spams or not cause i only read the joey related forums. but wat i hate seeing most is ppl who quote 83472833 in one post, which i think it has probably stopped by now.

and i especially hate seeing spams in the joey forums because i only read the joey threads. its annoying to go thru pages and pages of chatting.

Spam isn't only OFF-TOPIC.

I remember we had a talk on what "spam" is.

Basically it's when you carry on a coversation (like on msn, aim, icq). This is a forum with lots of members and when you carry on a conversation with someone and make it impossible for someone else to comment...well that's hard..but i know that CAN happen sometimes...we have the PM system..you can use that instead. It just makes everyone else feel as though they can join in and post as well.


About the thank you posts. I think we should DOWNLOAD whatever is up for download, watch it, think about it and THEN post. Then our posts would have thought and has value for others to read. It sucks when you read 20 thank you messages, plus it puts others off from commenting. This can apply to the news...our news translators and posters dont really need all that thank you, you can make a short post...comment and show that you read and understood the news...thank you says nothing much.

I am not siding with anyone,continue posting but keep other notasactive members' in mind!!

mm, yea i kinda agree. i used to be really active on jg, but after reading here and there, its getting quite boring. so i stop coming to jg for long periods at one go,

although i do confess to spamming, but i dont really do it like, so much. and yes, another part. NO DOUBLE POSTING PLEASE. if youre quoting someone, or a few people can u please do it in one post? its kinda annoying to go through page after page to see 3 or 4 posts by the same person just cos he was lazy to copy and paste the code for quotes.

sean, 16 posts per day isn't that much you know... a lot of forums have people with heaps more, i don't think it's any cause for concern

i think this is a bit like what happened with user Dale (from TC, [SR]) who came here and posted heaps and tried to liven things up... i think we at JG are more accustomed to taking things slowly.

Trying to lighten things up? They are basically having fucking conversations in threads. If tjhat Dale dude wanted to liven things up he should have done it the proper way and create a sensible amount of threads. Fuck.

i know where you're coming from, but some people prefer a more chatty forum and others less so
